Welcome to my "Heritage Cars" gallery, featuring collections of photographs of motor cars from the past, taken at rallies and events or just out-and-about
My own favourites are Standard and Triumph cars from the famous Canley Motor Works in Coventry (where my father worked for 43 years), and Daimler and Lanchester from Radford in Coventry (where my grandfather worked for 57 (yes, 57!) years
I guess I should add that my mother also worked at the Alvis in Coventry!
Like a lot of Coventry's industry, these car factories are sadly no longer there
Other car manufacturers (Riley, Rolls-Royce, Austin) are also featured, together with those quaint French vehicles, the Citroen 2CV, seen racing around Mallory Park!
